At present, the Democratic world and the Communistic world are the two parties — one being in the position of Abel and the other in the position of Cain. Only with those powers put together will they be able to reach God through the True Parents. By being united with the True Parents they can reach God. That is the outline of the history of restoration through indemnity. When we look into the world we see that there are two parties of people: Cain on the worldwide level and Abel on the worldwide level. Cain and Abel on the worldwide level, when you narrow its scope, would correspond to Cain-type nation and the other to Abel-type nation. Narrowing down its scope, the Cain-type nation would correspond to the Cain-type tribe or clan, and the Abel-type nation would correspond to the Abel-type tribe or clan. The Cain-type clan would correspond to the Cain-type family and the Abel-type clan to the Abel-type family. And finally, the Cain-type family corresponds to the Cain-type individual and the Abel-type family corresponds to the Abel-type individual. And in a single individual, we find that the Cain-type mind and body and the Abel-type mind and body are at war with each other. There is a boundary all throughout those levels. The barrier was originated due to the Human Fall. Those in favor of God or on the side of mind are at war against those on the side of evil and on the side of materialism — denying the existence of God.

Since our enemy and God’s is still on earth, whether we are here in Korea, America, Japan, or in Germany, each one of us must destroy Satan from one’s own nation. This you all know and are doing. This enemy is the one who trampled upon our True Parents, brothers, sisters, and our true nation and world, and even upon God Himself.

Therefore, it is the responsibility of the children to avenge God’s enemy by destroying him and offering a world of peace and love to God. This we must pray consciously while we are awake, and subconsciously while we are asleep. For the accomplishment of all this, let us arise. Serving our True Parents, we become true Family and must seek our true nation and establish our true cosmos. We must fulfill the original purpose of God’s creation, regardless of how great a sacrifice may be required of us. This is the reason our responsibilities and missions are so great.

Therefore, I am sure that those who are pioneering in the new mission fields or doing other activities will have all kinds of problems and difficulties. Endure them remembering what our Father has endured, and what your Leader has gone through. When you get exhausted and discouraged, when you feel like withdrawing, remember my long struggle and tiring battle, and rise again, for I am not yet tired, nor am I yet discouraged.

During my school days I debated with my friends who studied the theories of communism. I did not believe that we should follow that ideology, and all my life I have been fighting the communists. I know in detail what communism is all about.

The system most completely organized according to cthe communist program was the prison system. Nevertheless, in prison I never engaged in the communist practice of self-criticism. During my life in prison, for two years and five months, I never wrote even one of the obligatory papers of self-criticism. For that reason I was n their blacklist.

But even under those circumstances, without saying a word, I became the top worker. That was the only way that I could survive. If I had compromised even a little, I could not have survived there. So I made myself the champion in all aspects and in all areas. No one could keep up with me. I was the first in scooping up the fertilizer, in dragging the bags, in tying them, and in putting them on the train. Therefore, I received the top worker award every year while I was in prison.

I Shall Follow With Gratitude And Obedience

If I love you and if you want the maximum love from me, my expression of love is to give you the most difficult task to perform. Would you want an easy mission or a difficult one? When you ask for a difficult mission, do you mean it? The most difficult missions I could assign include witnessing to Kim Il Sung and Mr. Gorbachev, so that we can turn Russia upside down, or influence the important people of North Korea. These are very difficult missions. Even if it is not realistic for you to expect such a mission, still you should think seriously about it.

You may feel these missions would be overwhelming, but how would they compare with a command to open the gates of hell? To liberate hell would be more difficult. When you see how great the challenge is, would you still be confident enough to do it? In order to open the gates of hell, you would need not only to approach hell but to enter it. In hell, people will kick you, scratch you, pull on you and do everything imaginable to you. In spite of this, would you persevere?

Let’s make one more comparison. Which do you think is easier: to open hell’s gate or to create heaven here on earth? They have different levels of difficulty. Since Satan already has his kingdom here, you might say it is more difficult to build the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. If I entrust you with such a mission, you must at least have the key to open hell’s gate and the blueprint for building the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth.
